UPS and USPS Module Webservice Test Connection Error

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We're having some issues with the UPS and USPS shipping modules in Prestashop v1.4.4.0. In both modules I'm getting an error for the Webservice Test Connection.

UPS: "2) Webservice test connection : Error 111100 : The requested service is invalid from the selected origin."

USPS: "3) Webservice test connection : USPS Webservice seems to be down, please wait a few minutes and try again."

The FedEx module is working and allows us to select shipping through FedEx in the check-out. All default Zones, Countries, and States are enabled.

We've tried uninstalling the module and reinstalling, with no changes. Thank you in advance for any help.

I've found a temporary fix for this problem. It appears UPS and USPS will not accept metric measurements. When the weight and measurements are set to lbs and inches in the module it connects correctly and works.

We would really like to use metric measurements so I guess the next step is finding out if this is an issue in the module or with the carrier.

I'm not sure about USPS, but UPS requires the measurements to be according to their "standard" for each country.

You can take a look at our shipping modules, which offer a built in weight conversion, as well as true support for multiple packages.

You can define a few box sizes you use to ship, and the module will automatically decide how many boxes and what sizes are needed to fit the products in the cart (thus giving the most accurate rates).

Can someone please help us??? I'm trying o setup USPS also. I set up an account with USPS and got the id's and all that info, filled it in and I keep getting the same webservice test connection error.

This is holding up my store, I don't know what else to do if it's saying prestashop will not connect and try again. We've got to be doing something wrong. It's driving me crazy!!!!!

@tomerg... I noticed you provided a link to a paid module for shipping. I'm not understanding why I would pay when the one on prestashop is free. I'm not trying to be crass, but I really want to know what the difference is, b/c at this point I'm willing to try anything!!! :(

Jasmynn,

Since I am having the same problems how did you turn off the sandbox and take it out of test? I am so frustrated. I am new to all of this meaning setting up a website. Any help from anyone would be really appreciated.

Thanks
