Sub Categories Not Showing In Back Or Front Office Unless Searched For.

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I have tried to create sub categories in my shop, i have done this in then past and in fact yesterday they were fine. Today i try to add a new sub category which it does create in the database but it does not view in my front or back office. If i do search the Id, name or description in the back office it finds it but other than searching for it, it is not visible. Can anyone help?

Also since upgrading to version 1.4.4 (the categories had stoped working before the update) after this the store logo no matter what size or type i upload appears blury.

Something really weird has happened. If i try and de-activate anything it says it has been de-activated but when i go back to check it hasn't, same for enabling and un-ableing the shop. its bizare. This has only happened today.

A wild guess: Do you use the block layered navigation block?

Something rings a bell that I saw that similar things could happen when using that module...

I'm unsure what that is so i don't think so.

It is actually creating the categories i just can't see them any where unless i search for them in back office.

The website has been working fine for 2 months and never had any problems, I haven't changed any files etc and today it just stopped working. Was really strange but I've been looking at this for 4 hours now and it is really beginning to annoy me :-(
