1.4.3 - cannot create \ edit a category

Hi mates... I was trying to make my online store and I confess i'm a newbie in this web-development thing. But for some reason now I cannot edit a category. If I edit the category in portuguese or another language works fine but i'm getting a error when i try to put in english. And I cannot edit.

 

Every category I create the name is "--" and also I cannot edit (actually i can, but nothing happens when I save) Planes 1:200 and 1:250. I tried everything.. every names... like "aa, bb, cc, anyname" but for some reason prestashop refuses to work. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.
