SSNet Inc
Greetings, Could use some advice here. Can't afford the paid Free Shipping module, so followed the advice in another thread about modifying product weights to trigger the Free Shipping in the standard cart setup. Here is the problem. Using the FedEx API. Most, but not all of the products have free FedEx GROUND shipping. So, if someone orders such a product, it will trigger free shipping - HOWEVER, when they get to the shipping page - it lists all the available (the ones we selected) FedEx options - granted, they all show as Free - but it allows the user to select, for instance, Overnight instead of Ground. Bottom line, is there a way to tell the cart NOT to display the shipping options if Free shipping is triggered by weight or price limits? This link is a screenshot to better illustrate. The product in the cart is free shipping. The default method for shipping is FedEx Ground. You can see in the screenshot that option is selected by default - but you will also see the user can select other options - and would then expect the items to be shipped that way. http://awesomescreenshot.com/03bi72996 If these options can not be suppressed, is there a way to add some text to that page of the checkout process so we can explain it will be sent ground regardless if they select another options?
