Question about paypal

Recommended Posts

Hallo,

I have installed the CMS presta shop to manage the ecommerce of site and it seems to work quite well but not paypal payment.

The problem is that the seller receives the mail that the payment has been done but there isn't the description of the product, so that he can not understand which product has been sold.

The buyer receive the invoice with the description of the products, that could be useful for the seller too, but I have not found the option to enable it.

I have asked to paypal but they say to ask to Prestashop but nobody answers.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It would be ok either to add the description to the seller's mail or to send the invoice to the seller too, so that he can immediately understand what he has sold without entering everytime in the administration panel.

The Cms Version is 1.4.1.0, the paypal module version is 2.4.

Thank you for your help.

if there is discount coupon in the order, then no details will send to Paypal, only the total, because Paypal does not have discount parameter.

Otherwise, if there is no discount coupon, then the product detailed information will be sent to Paypal.

At least my Agile Paypal Express Checkout module is behave like this, I am not sure other modules. If you are interested, you have a look at this thread

As Shokinro mentioned, the product info will not be sent when discounts are applied.

There were a few critical bug fixes in the PS paypal version, you can download the latest stable version of PS (1.4.4) and copy ONLY the paypal module to your site (V2.6).

I actually did this today on my site, as I had an error with the order amount, which was fixed in the latest version.

This should solve your issue.
