Expanding category button alignment

I have an issue with the alignment of the category expand "+" button on my store. In Firefox and Chrome, the button is aligned fine (just to the left of the category text), but in Internet Explorer (I've tested 8 & 9) the button appears on a line above the text.

 

Here's what I mean, in Chrome everything's as it should be

 

 

but in explorer

 

 

With compatibility mode switched on in explorer, it's fine again, but I'd like the expand buttons to be aligned by default. Any ideas?

Hello Flix, you should play with the Firebug add-on of Firefox or use the native feature of Google Chrome to inspect element (right click on anything on your page and then modify the CSS). You should easily find a solution to your issue. Note that some CSS directives are specific to Webkit (-webkit prefix) or Firefox (-moz prefix).
