Prestashop theme compatibility

Hi everyone,

 

I am about to buy a template that states to be compatible with latest 1.4.0 version (1.4.0.17 they say). However I want to use latest stable engine 1.4.4 or even 1.5.0 if it gets out soon.

 

My question is, am I going to find any problem with the template? I don't think there is such a big change in the engine that is breaking everything, is it?

 

I can spend sometime trying to fix small bugs and things like that, but I don't want to spend a lot of hours since one of the main reasons to buy a professional template is to save time.

 

Hope someone can bring some light to it!
