IceTray
Hello, I'm looking for some assistance in which files are responsible for the position of the Welcome, Your Account, and Cart links that are default at the top right of the Prestashop template. I'm looking to move them to a new spot on the layout, or to even just move them down closer to the cart box. Any information is appreciated. Mike Kranzler
Have you tried our new LiveEdit function? Click on Modules > Positions and then select "Run LiveEdit" on the right side of the page.
IceTray
Have you tried our new LiveEdit function? Click on Modules > Positions and then select "Run LiveEdit" on the right side of the page. Is this the only means of doing that? I read around, and some people say its still better to just edit files, it provides a bit more control for designers. Mike Kranzler
How about transplanting it to a new hook? It may not be compatible with every hook location, but you should at least be able to see your options for moving that module around the page. IceTray
It wasn't able to be moved to a new hook. This is generally why I use manual editing. So are you saying I can't move these 3 links via code? (I'm speaking in regards to the three text links that sit at the very top right of the page)
jhnstcks
Those links are part of the userinfo Module, and they can be moved around by transplanting the module to other areas that are comptabile with the module, usually left/right columns headers and footers. Depending on what exactly you want to do you could use css to manoeuvre them around the page. Look in themes>yourtheme>css>modules>blocuserinfo folder for the css files connected with them.

Thank you, this information was useful and I was able to relocate the links to where I wanted them.
