Chris M
Hi, i'm having a problem with the voucher and paypal. When i did a test transaction (no voucher) when it sends me to the paypal page with the total price and the description of the item. But when i did a test transaction WITH voucher only the total shows but it does not show the description of the item. see pic below. any ideas how i can fix this? Mike Kranzler
Hi Chris, Due to a difference in calculation standards between PrestaShop and PayPal, product information cannot be sent when discounts are applied. So when you're applying a voucher, the individual products will not show up in the order summary.
shokinro
That is the way the module works. Because Paypal does not have parameter for discount, so if there a voucher (a dicount for order), it is difficult to split the discount amount into multiple products. So the only way to just pass total to Paypal.

Chris M
At this point, yes. ok thanks for the info. im also having another problem im not sure if you can help with this. i did a couple test payments and the customer received an email saying "payment sent to [email protected]" when i first installed prestashop i used email [email protected] and now that it is completed i want to change it to [email protected]. what is confusing me is that in paypal the primary email is [email protected] i never used the chris@ email in paypal so im guessing its picking it up from the original installation. i changed everything that says [email protected] in the back office such as "contact information", "employees" but when i do a test payment it keeps saying [email protected] so i need to change something in the coding to fix this?
