Chris M
Hi i set up my paypal module on prestashop and did a test run everything worked 100% fine but i noticed that when i got the email that notified me of the payment it doesnt show the description of the item so i dont know what they ordered. Also when i set up my prestashop installation i used an email [email protected] but in the employees section i changed it to [email protected] and on the email of the customer it says payment was sent to "[email protected]" how do i fix these two issues? thanks in advance
shokinro
when i got the email that notified me of the payment it doesnt show the description of the item so i dont know what they ordered. Is the email from Paypal or from PrestaShop? Are you using API or just standard web payment? Also when i set up my prestashop installation i used an email [email protected] but in the employees section i changed it to [email protected] and on the email of the customer it says payment was sent to "[email protected]" I think "[email protected]" is the store owner address, which is you input at installation, you can change the setting at backoffice - Preference - Contact Info I think the email address "[email protected]" at Employees - Contacts tab are for contact-us form. It is setting at back office - Employees - Contacts tab A little bit of confusing, but I think it explains why it says payment sent to "[email protected]" the store owner. Chris M
i already changed it on the back office - preference - contact info and did another test but it still comes out at [email protected] could it be picking up from previous history? maybe there is something i need to clear or refresh? shokinro
I guess "[email protected]" is your Paypal account. Where does following message exactly appear? I am little confused. Can you show me a screenshot? "it says payment was sent to "[email protected]"

Chris M
this is the issue that i'm concern of. i fixed this issue larrybala im not sure if you have the same issue but i fixed it in PAYPAL. go to profile-more options- and where in the Business information section click update and i changed the email to the one i wanted and it worked like a charm. So my previous assumption was correct. it was your paypal account email address? Actually, it you set a business name at you Paypal account, it will display the business name instead of email address, I think that might be better than email address.
