Problem importing products with supplier name

I am trying to import products into my store. I have figured out every aspect of the import with no problems. But, when I import the products with the supplier name it adds it to my supplier list.

I have tried to import it using the supplier ID that I want to match. I have also tried using the supplier name. It doesn't make a difference. It just adds an identical supplier to the list. I will have 50 of the same supplier.

I hope I explained it well. Is there any way around this? Is there something I am missing?
