the hat lady
My host is Vodahost. t hink they are slack. When I have an issue it appears to be over 12 hours before I get any answers. This morning when I logged on I found my site, Cpanel and therefore email down and it has now been 12 hours and still no reply or action. This is frustrating it was fine last night. I can not afford for my site to be down like this. Can others recommended a good relible, fast host which works well with Prestashop? Thanks. jhnstcks
I have used Scotserve for over 2 years now and have never had a problem with them, the support tickets are answered within a few hours, and never had a problem with speed or downtime. When i transferred over to them they moved my whole package for me, i didn't have to do anything. They also have Softaculous on cpanel which has Prestashop as an auto one click install script.

Hi, we are using siteground for over 3 years and they are the most recommended for prestashop. our site is almost 100% up as we have never faced an error on the same. as of now they have a good plan with them for 10$ an year. I would recommend you to go for the same from this link only. generally they have plans of 4$ a month http://www.siteground.com/friends.htm?referrer_id=6889753 I am sure you wont find a better reliability and price for the service
PrestaDesigner.com
Are you looking for a VPS/Dedicated or shared hosting? Depends upon your budget. For VPS I would recommend you Servint or Wiredtree.

Paul C
Like jhnstcks I've been happily use scotserve for commercial sites. One often overlooked aspect of choosing hosting is backup and recovery so in my opinion you should select hosting which offers an online backup facility. With scotserve, for example, I can restore a site to within about an hour (or less) of a problem, rather than 24hrs or more.... recovery is really essential for a commercial online site. As with everything you get what you pay for, and choosing on price is never a good bet in my experience. Paul
tomerg3
Where are you located, and where are most of your visitors located? That should be the main factor when it comes to picking a host.
