Jquery and powered by (two different issues)

updated to 1.4.4 from 1.3.6

installed a 1.4.x theme

issue is add to cart Jquery doesnt animate like it used to and takes you to the cart after clicking add.

i cant seem to get powered by prestashop off my site, i tried to look into the mysql but i cant figure out how to view/edit in there.

as for the bo i have unchecked the boxes there.

even edited w/e the other posts say about the theme tpl in my theme.

 

one more thing, can i gzip

if so how?
