shokinro Posted July 31, 2011 Share Posted July 31, 2011 the emails by default will not send to store owner, it will send to customer only. if you mean as customer, you didn't receive the emails, then please check email template for your language exists and has correct permission(755 for folder and 644 for files). YourStoreRoot/mails/xx/ where xx is iso code of language like 'en' for English, es for Spanish. If everything looks good, please check if order is generated correctly, maybe the something went at validating the order and some error occured during/before send email. (set display_errors to on in file /config/config/inc.php" You can set for for each order status to send an email at back office, but by default most of them should be already there. I've re-installed my demo-shop and tried the English language first. When my shop's language was English, everything worked fine (the order confirmations were working perfectly), but when I switched it to Slovenian, everything changed. I can't even translate the e-mail templates, as all the translation fields are empty (blank). Why is that? How can I correct that? ilovekutchi.com Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Hi Shokinro. I've detected a problem with confirmation mails that are not being sent after they pay with paypal. As shop owner I receive the confirmation mail and I see that the order is confirmed in the back office. However something might be missing in paypal module to send the confirmation mail (payment.html) to costumers. I checked the permissions and I had 755 in both folder and mail files, but after changing payment.html to 644, it still doesn't send the email to the costumer. The confirmation mail is only sent if I (re)confirm the payment manually in the back office. PS v1.3.2; PayPal v1.7.1 Can you help me?! Thanks! However it doesn't make sense that bank wire module send confirmation mails to costumer while paypal don't... Any good explanation for this? I've detected a problem with confirmation mails that are not being sent after they pay with paypal. After Buy paid, in Back Office/ Order, I didn't see it.
