(Solved) Lost Module

Hi all

 

I have installed a FREE module from Prestashop Addons 4 times today. It is in my Cpanel file manager under modules.

However I cannot find it in my Presta BO modules.

 

The module is Beetailer, a social facebook module.

 

I have just looked at the addons page to check for more info and the module has gone.

 

Any ideas how to help please.

Have you tried entering the module's name in the search field on the Modules tab (not the global search at the top of the page)? If it doesn't show up there, then it's likely the module isn't compatible with your PrestaShop version, or you haven't installed it properly. Check to make sure you've uploaded a directory that has a PHP file matching the name of the directory. If such a file doesn't exist, then the module won't appear.

I sometimes have an issue like this when I'm rushing and not paying attention to what I'm doing (I'm not say you are not paying attention ).

 

It happens when you have one directory too many like this:

 

/modules/Beetailer/Beetailer/module files

 

instead of

 

/modules/Beetailer/module files

 

If it's like this it will not show in modules at all.
