Display CMS Page Content in a Block in my Footer?

Hi,

 

I'd like to display some content from a page in my CMS in a block in my Footer.

 

Can someone show me how to do this?

I am not quite clear your question.

 

1. Do you want to put block with some links to some your CMS page at your footer?

Or

2. Do you want to put a block with some content from one of CMS page at your footer?

 

For 1, you can transplant a existing block CMS module into footer.

Modules tab - Positions - click "Transplant a module" and choose block CMS

 

For 2, You can just copy the content from a CMS page and insert into the footer.tpl file

And I need to allow the client to update it so I can't hard code it into footer.tpl.

 

Is there a simple workaround to "pull" the page content into my footer.

 

Really appreciate any help you can give with this. Tearing my hair out this past week.
