100% width footer

I have searched on the web last days and this morning but i can’t get my footer out of the #page (wrapper) using the default theme as template.

 

The idee is to put it ouside the wrapper (#page) so that can make it screen width(100%).

 

I tried to change the footer.tlp and adding #footer in the global.css with all the different widths and backgrounds . How do I get this footer out of the #page?

 

I fixed the header by adding:

body {
background: url(../img/bgTop.png) repeat-x #FFC;
font-size: 11px;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif;
color: #5d717e;
text-align: center;
}

Hi, did you manage to sort this one?

 

I had the same problem and have just worked it out. i came to your thread to see if there was an answer before I worked it out but obviously there wasn't.
