Changing TITLE tag

Right now, PrestaShop uses this output for TITLE tags on product pages:

TITLE="Store Name - Product Name"

This is a really poor way to have the title. I looked at header.tpl, but this is how the title is generated:

{$meta_title|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}

Because of this, it isn't easy to just move things around the way we want them.

Does anyone have a better idea on creating better TITLE tags for SEO? It should be

TITLE="Buy Product Name at Store Name"

Or something along those lines.

I found a workaround until this is fixed. Using meta_description will override the store's name being inserted at the beginning of the title. Just make sure your meta_description tags are suitable for title tags

Thanks, but those are apparently just threads discussing the same issues I have brought up. It looks like no one has come up with a solution yet. Do the devs read these forums anymore? Is PrestaShop still being developed? I just started using it, I hope I didn't find something that is no longer being supported!

If you want this particular title you have to invent it yourself and share your solution.

I already shared my solution, by using the meta-description rather than meta-title, it does not insert the store name before the title. However, you need to make sure that your meta-description is suitable.
