Shopping cart summary: how to refresh page when changing the quantity

I managed to configure "Availability icons" in Shopping cart summary to visually display current stock: if item is in stock the green dot is shown, if product has a low stock there is a blue dot and if product is out of stock there is a red dot.

But problem shows when customer adds for example one product into his cart, which have actual quantity of 5 items. And if a customer changes the quantity in Shopping cart summary from 1 to 10, there is still green dot representing that 10 items in stock, but in fact there are only 5 in stock. So how can I manage to refresh every time the customer changes the quantity in Shopping cart summary? Thank you for the tip!
