matiasad
Hi everybody!I've just found some error and I'm not quite sure if it qualifies as a bug or if it is some kind of alien attack on my server...I've found that every time I write the word "reuniones" on my product descriptions I get this message: "1 error 1. ocurrió un error mientras se actualizaba el objeto product ()" (translated would be something like "one error. 1. An error happened while refreshing product()".Any way, I've tried changing that word and I found that prestashop will have an error if you write (I think that anywhere) "union". Is it only me who's having this problem? Thanks!

matiasad
Ok, I found the blacklist (DB.php on 'classes' folder). But I have a question: Is it dangerous to delete those words from the blacklist? Why were they blacklisted?
capclem
You don't have to use these words : UNION|LOAD_FILE|OUTFILE|DUMPFILE|ESCAPED|TERMINATED|CASCADE|INFILE|X509|TRIGGER|REVOKE';In the titles, the texts... or anywhere

strs156
Thanks for that info .But it Took me 1 week to figure out that the word trigger was causing my data import to fail always in the same line of my csv The import was failing and the import process was continuing messing everything in the database putting text and cutted words in catalog menu .I was using some words to describe a product (bla bla... Video only with remote wire for camera trigger. bla bla ..) It would be nice if i was informed in the error messages ...Like Forbidden word ,,or this word is not allolwed or something...I LOST A WEEK JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THIS WORD IS FORBIDDEN FROM SQL .I was ready to give up with prestashop and go to something elseI was "lucky" i found it while i was trying to set up my store and it did not happened to a full running store filled with thousands of products. That is a big minus ,but i really like the presta shop for its nice appearance ,easy to use and the additional modules. jhnstcks
If you want to use a blacklisted word in your description just add some html into the middle of the word. See below for an example. Doesnt work in titles etc because you cant use html there. trigger union

It wasnt easy for me ...I was trying to upload all the necessary data for all the products and i didnt know what was the problem. A bad format or a line feed character somewhere or a missing column character or character encoding or the server sql or ... somewhere between of 933 product data in 25 columns .People are kind and helpfull here yes ....but first you have to know what to ask help for Nice trick the html code between the forbidden words .Cheers ! matiasad
mmm... that's a nice trick indeed... Maybe it's possible to make Prestashop automatically add some code when a forbidden word appears... Aaaargh! I wish I knew how to program a module to fix it! 4eyes
This almost qualifies as a bug.It also applies to the CMS - for obvious reasons - and as one of blacklist words is the word 'revoke', effectively prevented us from entering our terms and conditions ('revoke' being a common word in English legal documents)It really would help if the parser automatically changed the banned words by use of the trick mentioned above. misty
You can also manually edit your database with sql commands or phpmyadmin. For your information, they got rid of this blacklist in version 1.
