Trying to use smarty variables (base_dir) in CMS page ??

Hi,

I am trying to use smarty variable in my CMS pages but they don't seem to work?

For example I am trying to use {$base_dir} instead of hard coding my WWW address but it doesn't work.

When I look at the source code of the CMS page generated it only prints "{$base_dir}link-to-image.png" ?

Anyone have any ides on this?

Use relative url instead of absolute url.

Example: upload image to img/test.jpg

Than in cms <img src="img/test.jpg" />
