Scotty501
If you already have it in a CSV - why not add a formula to the spreadsheet to add a % to the sell price?
BaDTaG
well that was my first idea to but i cant seam to get it to work i tryd this.=D2*1,07 (sould be 7% if i remember right) but it dossent work :-/
Scotty501
that should work - except you have a comma where it should be a "." so it reads =d2*1.07 and that will work. Fill down all the way down your list. Cut and paste special - Values and then save as CSV.Edit - that will give you 70% if you want 7% - it should be 1.
BaDTaG
i tryd it whit "," and "." maby my file is corrupt :-/ but your are wrong about 1.007 ) 100*1.07=107 (7%) 100*1.007= 100.7 (?%)
Scotty501
my bad - I edited my original number in the post - and did not correct it later in the post - of course your right - Year 5 maths eh Actually if you want to add margin % as opposed to mark up % it would be =d2/.93 Can you attach a small sample of the csv here - maybe 5 lines or something and I can have a look for you. BaDTaG
okay heres go. (this is straight from cs-cart and not edited for presta yet)3 lines whit line 1EDIT:-)
Scotty501
I meant the CSV file itself - you can attach files to the thread. If there is a problem with the spreadsheet this wont show - if you can attach a small portion of it - or if you rather email it to me Email click here
BaDTaG
okay here is a small part 5 line or so Presta.csv
Scotty501
OK I see the problem. You had not seperated the various portions from cell A1. You had part number, description and pricing all rolling together. I saved it as a txt file and imported using comma and semicolon as the seperaters. You may need to check and tweak that part of the import - but it works - check the attached. I added mark up and I did a true margin % increase - as you said you wanted to add margin.Does that help? Presta-1.csv
Scotty501
Actually you wont see my formulas and stuff in csv - so here it is in excel format. Presta-2.xls

Scotty501
hmm how come that =D2*1,07= isent the same as =D2/0,93= and how dit you make it work ?? Thats the difference between margin and mark-up - margin being the latter forumula. Margin The percentage margin is the percentage of the final selling price that is profit.Markup A markup is what percentage of the cost price do you add on to get the selling price. As to how did I make it work - do you mean the CSV import or the formulas? I left the forumulas in for you - but it did just work which may suggest your file format or the file itself has a problem. Try cut and pasting it to a new file and see if it works - what version of Excel are you using?

BaDTaG
well i have tryd all of them. wen using Excel it just opens all fils in 1 tap :-/ i have 2 difrent suppliers and 2 difrent files it is the same in Excel whit both off them.what file formate sould i save the file in? i get a webpage whit alle the info i raw formate and have to copy it and past to a file. so i am thinking thats the problem :-/
Scotty501
Your best bet is to open it in notepad ++ and save it as a .txt file. The import it into excel - thats how I got you columns seperated. When importing select "Delimited" and then chose the seperators - I think it was Semicolons and Commas for your data. That should do it

Scotty501
No worries - if I can help just send me a PM.As for importing - search the forums is your best bet. I know it can be frustrating importing - and I have only ever done it from Prestashop to Prestashop - so I would not know where to begin with OS Commerce!Good Luck - little by little you will get there - but if you need help just PM me and I will see if I can Edit - Just looked at your store (OS I assume) it is very slow - I can see why you are moving! BaDTaG
no it is cs-cart and the reson it is slow is the small server it is on :-) (my private nas server). i am moving becurs it simply issent compatibel whit a real server inviroment :-( it has tons of nice futurs but wen you cant add produkts to the cart. well then the point of it kinda gos away
