[Solved] BackOffice Tabs only translated for some languages.

Hello All,

I'm having trouble with the Tabs in the Back Office not translating for languages like Chinese, Russian, Japanese. They all don't use standard alphanumeric characters.

The other languages like German, French, Polish work fine.
If it is because they are incomplete, where would I find the place to input the translation as I can't find it.

you will need to a language pack for each language and then install them at back office.

Installing and using the language pack is not my problem.

I have successfully installed; English, French, German, Simplified-Chinese, Russian, Japanese and Polish into my shop.

However Simplified-Chinese, Russian and Japanese don't translate the Tabs and their sub-menus to their respective language.

I wish to know how I could change or add their translations.

Do I need to manually edit a file, if so then where would it be?

Those tab names are saved in database.
just like product name and description.

You will have to translate them one by one at back office.

edit selected tab and click language icon beside the name box.

Ok I now understand what caused all of my confusion.

The 'Tabs' subcategory is under the Employees tab in my shop not Tools.

As for Tabs, it was under Tools before 1.3x and now is under Employee after 1.4x
(I have also modified my previous post for future references)

is there any way to tranhslate all 80 tabs automatically by google or language pack?
