Question about adding new products

Hello,

currently I am adding new products in PrestaShop, mainly clothing. If I have to add a product with a couple of colors and couple of sizes the combinations of images which I have to select raise rapidly. Even for one product they can be beyond 30. What is the best practice to add new products in PrestaShop, especially when they have different sizes and colors?

My question is similar to this so hopefully someone would be kind enough to answer my question as well.

I also have a textile type shop that I am opening and my products are one-size fits all. I have 16 different styles of products and I am trying to offer a "6-pack" of whatever the customer chooses. When I try to make a pack using the combination tab, it tries to make a very large number of products. Whats worse, is each of these invidual products no longer are linked to the individual products so I have no way of properly adjusting inventory as sales are made. In a perfect world, my customer would choose a 6-pack, have 6 drop down boxes where they can choose their 6 choices and my inventory is updated when the order clears. Is this possible to do?
