steve_c
I reported this bug in version 1.3 but never got any help / answers. When you go over 34 categories - the newer categories *do not* appear in the category tree. The problem is like so - my 35th Category was "Loro Piana" under category "wallets".I want to add an item to this subcategory so I go to:Catalog > (30) Wallets > (35) Loro Piana > Add a new productOn the next screen the category tree does not include "Loro Piana".I have been adding hundreds of products up to this point but have now hit a brick wall.I remember back in 1.3 I had to add them to another subcategory and then manually go into phpmyadmin and change all of the subcategory IDs in the back end! I am also having another *Major* problem with 1.4 here and here.I am using 123-reg as a host if that makes any difference.I would be grateful for any help and am happy for an admin to look into this (will provide login details so you can see this problem live).Stephen
steve_c
I've just found out that if I turn force compile on - I can see the subcategory. This may help anyone out there having the same problem. Looks as if I will have to clear cache or force compile every time I have a new subcategory.
