Offer valid until DD/MM/YYYYThe free fixing kit may or may not be a product already available on the site.Advice appreciated.
phrasespot
How to add a free item/free gift to a product for a limited time? If the product is not available in the shop, you have already done what you are asking for by adding Free fixing kit, Usually £20, when you buy this product. Offer valid until DD/MM/YYYY to the product description. No?If the product is available in the shop, them you could create a pack with the item and the fixing kit for the price of the item and add the relevant marketing blurb to the description. olea
On the Addons, I propose the module Gift On OrderPurpose of the module is to automatically add products to the cart, depending on several criteria regarding the cart content. In particular, in your case, it is possible to detect a particular product, event a particular product declination and then add a given product to the cart.It is also possible to detect products association : Product A + product B int he cart then Product C offered. C is offered max 1 time per order or each time an A+B association is detected. If products to be offered are catalog product, they have to be duplicated to have their prices set to 0. Thanks for your response. Yes indeed this could be a solution. However, I would like something a little more automated. Your suggestion of creating a pack could work though. Hadn't considered that. Your Gift on Order module looks great. It would certainly do the job and but has a lot more functionality than I would need or ever use. So I couldn't justify the cost. Thanks for your input all the same, very interesting.
