Dee P.
Even tho I've been selling on eBay and tias for years and have been taking website building classes for 2 years to finally get my own little shop -- clearly, I'm just a newbie! Frustration is probably keeping my brain from seeing what is in front of me for the past week.I thought this module was supposed to help make it easier to hook into USPS' site for automatically calculating shipping worldwide. But since I can't get the bugger to work (see my unsolved question at http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/116934/), I'm working on setting-up all of the zones, prices, etc. recommended in the Wiki HOPING that will at least make the shipping options available.So.... my question is this: If I have to go through this manual stuff with prices, zones, etc. and keep that updated every time USPS makes changes, just what does this module do for my "little shop" that everyone is so excited about? Not trying to be contrary, just trying to understand.
Dee P.
Main problem with my above solution is the statement following statement at the bottom of each carrier shipping option:Module:- This carrier is bound to this module => uspscarrier- The shipping costs are calculated outside of your shop- This carrier uses PrestaShop range to calculate shipping costs
enigma32
Well, the first thing to note with these modules is you CANNOT modify them via shipping->carriers. Check your database via phpmyadmin, does it cache rates for said shopping cart?
