stitched
AFter seaching thru the posts...I've found this thread....this is what I am needing information for:•group – I can only see default ? what or which group does it refer to ?You can use customer groups to provide a subset of your customers a percentage discount or restrict access of categories to certain customers. By default, Prestashop only comes with a default customer group and all customers have access to all categories. Using this field, you could create an exclusive category of products for VIP members only, for example.Where is some information to make this happen!!Will pay for some helpNeed to get this done!Shary
echonetic
While you can add multiple "groups" of customers, It is limited to a flat percentage discount they receive and you can only apply group access at category level, not product level. So, that being said, You can create a group and in the category editor, tick the box for the group that you added and they will receive a discount. Now, if you wanted a straight members only category, you can create a group with 0% discount and create whatever categories that you want them to have access and assign the group at category level and untick the default group box. Unfortunately, "groups" and "member" management is not really feature rich.I hope this helps
