tomerg3
How did you create the backup?Generally it's best to restore the backup to a new database (using phpMyadmin usually works best), make sure the data is correct, and copy over the tables you need,
amoon
Thanks Tomerg! I did a backup from cPanel, so I have everything that is on my server... but it is a backup from february with LOTS of less clothes and an incomplete Colors table! Is there a way to restore just that Colors table? and how?p.s I've been browsing in the backup files and have seen that in the 'classes' folders there are two files 'Atributte' and 'Attribute Group.php' ... restoring them will be of any help??? Thanks for your help...
tomerg3
If you deleted the database tables, restoring files will not help.Usually with a cpanel backup, you can only restore the whole thing, and it will overwrite what you currently have.I don't know what type of backup you did, you may want to ask your host how to restore it to a new database, and then just copy the attributes tables
