imix4u
Hi, I finally got the PrestaShop installed thanks to a programmer friend of my sons ...whew lucky me. Seems I had not set the permissions correct on the folders. He also said I uploaded in the wrong mode. Here is my question... I have downloaded a new theme I want to install but before I make the same mistake, do I upload it in Binary... ASCII ..or use the automatic setting on my FTP program I have 2 FTP Programs one is Filezilla that I used to love.. but doesn't work very well on my Mac .I am also using Yummy FTP designed just for a Mac . Also I have read 2 different ways to upload the theme. The first one said to unzip it AFTER I upload it.... and the other said to unzip on my computer THEN upload it to the Theme folder. Anyone that can help me It would be appreciated . Thank you for your time
Bluemoon08
I think Binary is usually for images and ASCII for scripts but I usually set it on auto. When in doubt, just use the auto setting.
