Will pay for help - Cant create subcategories.

Hi,

I am using Prestashop 1.4.3.

When I create subcategories they dont appear with names on the list of subcategories. And when I create products, I can only assign these to the "Home" category.

I have filled out of the information when creating the subcategories, but nothing happens.

Anyone tried this before, or know what is going wrong?

I works fine on my local installation using XAMPP, with the same edition of prestashop. Could it be something with my MySQL database?

I am using:

Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Server version: 5.1.54
Protocol version: 10

Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) PHP/5.3.4
MySQL client version: 5.1.54
PHP extension: mysqli
phpMyAdmin Version information: 3.4.0
