Which filter module to use for my store ?

Hello everyone

First of all I am trying Prestashop for first time and very happy with its features and availability of modifications, slightly more complicated admin panel compared to opencart which i have used for long time now and modifications are little too pricy
Apart from that it has what i really want for my shop.
Before i go and spend some mroe $$$ into modifications , i just wanted to get suggestions regarding which product filter modification to choose. I have seen few starting from $30-40 to $200 most of them seem to be doing what i really need.

My main requirement is to have a function to filter products according to their attributes, for example when i click on laptops it shows filter options suchs as screen size, disk space, ram , price etc but when i click on cables category i obviously dont want disk space and screen size , i would like to have cable length and colour and price thats it.
so far i have seen one which is $75 and another is 200 euros but both seem to be doing same job

You can find any module you'd like here : http://addons.prestashop.com/en/

I will not recommend you anything, just to pay attention that the module is compatible with the latest version of prestashop. Also see if after you purchase it, the author offers free updates.

thank you for your reply, like i said i am new to Prestashop and maybe there is major difference between usage and accessibility of $75 mod and $200 mod, also I have seen Advanced Top Menu mod to have a drop down menu but I cant figure out if it is compatible with any theme that I will buy ...

I want to migrate to Prestashop asap and Its alot of research and forum is always quicker
