curtdonohue
Setting the default currency in PrestaShop isn't a big deal. But, forgetting to set it before you add your products can be a huge deal. For example, let's say that your currency is US Dollars and didn't notice the PrestaShop default currency was set to Euros out of the box. You then proceed to upload hundreds of products. Now you want to change the default currency to get all those products back to Dollars. Guess what, you can't!Changing the default currency after any products are added only affects new products you add past that point. To get those hundreds of other products set to the Dollar, you will have to change each one of them individually. #$%^^@, you say?So, I created a video partly to show you how to set the default currency, but mostly to remind you to do it. It's quick and simple, so don't forget. You can find the video here: http://www.prestatraining.com/set-the-prestashop-default-currency/
