Pagination not working for categories but is working for manufacturers

Hi everyone... New to Prestashop, and so far, very impressed.

However, I am having an issue with v1.4.3 using the default Prestashop Theme.

All modules are and files are untouched.

This is the error:

When I view a category with enough products to cause more than a single page, it shows the proper number of products in the product count, and the proper number of pages. However, when I click on page 2 (for example) the contents of page one disappear but nothing shows up on page two. Even though there very definitely should be products on page 2 (and 3)

I did some research and though it might be the pagination.tpl file, but when I browse products by manufacturer, it works fine.

The only difference I can see is that the Manufacturer page shows the 'p=1' in the url but the Category page does not. Still, when I hover over the 'page 2' button, the status bar shows that the link is calling for 'p=2' but nothing shows up.

Any help? Advice?

Hi,

I have the same problem but using custom theme and a lot of products.
Shop was upgraded form 1.2.5 to 1.4.3.

I checked the url in both pages with firebug and i've notice:


category page: current state - just pressed a category url

it looks fine but if i press this link it blows up and the url shows has: http://127.0.0.1:8888/Loja3/prestashop/pt/6-emagrecimento

if i insert in the browser url ...?p=2 it works fine url:http://127.0.0.1:8888/Loja3/prestashop/pt/6-emagrecimento?p=2
at this stage when i check the links with firebug they show without ?p=1: 1

manufacture page: always show ?p=1

My problem is solved (at least looks like),

Disable block:
Layered navigation block v1.3 by PrestaShop
Displays a block with layered navigation filters.

this module is a beta version, i disable it, and now it works just like manufacture


Please tell if you get errors relating to this subject
