atwitz3nd
Not sure how, but it is now fixed :0)I just fiddled with some settings in the BO, and re-generated thumbnails and htaccess after every change and it seems to have worked.Sorry that's not much help to the rest of you but, I have no idea how I fixed it. fancydressqueen
I have the same issue but I can only have either Friendly URL or my images working, not both at the same time. Anyone found a fix yet?
atwitz3nd
Did you re-generate the htaccess and the thumbnails, after each change?. I think that's what fixed it

jennybeaumont
Am having similar trouble. I upgraded to 1.4.3.0 from 1.4.2.5, and had to re-import my products to take advantage of a new feature available on SVN for adding custom product add dates. To use this feature I had to delete existing products - no problem, because it's a new shop still in dev. Everything was ok until I went to upload the images again. Doesn't work at all. I've even divied my CSV into small pieces, but the import fails every time (whereas before it worked like a charm). The one big difference I see is that, whereas before all images were created directly in img>p, now they are creating subfolders img>p>4. Is that because I have added a category? (before all products were in "home", now home>yarn).I can upload the images 1 by 1 from the BO, but ACK! For +300 products ??!!:-S ¿que pasa? fancydressqueen
Looks like you have a different issue. My issue appears to be with the friendly urls. When they are turned off the images work fine, but when turned on the friendly url works but my images disappear. Still working on it in the forge with the bug team. jennybeaumont
Yeah, you're right, I'm not really sure where my problem is coming from. I think it's two-fold: 1) image import problem, 2) new image archive structure. Will keep searching and/or start a new thread.Best of luck to you! fancydressqueen
Mine was solved by increasing the server time and reloading the thumbnail images.
Bijan
Mine shows wrong image path for all images. For example in the image property of a product image it shows path img/p/1/6/7/167-home.jpgBut there is no folder named "7" in folder 6 folder. starxox
I'm having the same problem, luckily I know what my problem is as this happened the last time I upgraded. My host has disabled the exec function which is needed for resizing images, I have asked them to fix it as they did before. To check if this is your problem, change ('display_errors', 'off'); to on (or maybe it says false normally, I can't remember) but turn it to on, then try to manually upload a picture. If you get a message telling you exec has been disabled, you know that this is your problem.Good luck
starxox
I spoke too soon, got my host to fix the exec() problem, and now I can upload images, but all existing ones are gone, not great when you have nearly 2000 products!
