lynnetted
Hello! I hve a problem I hope someone can help with.I am trying to set up taxes for counties in Colorado - each county would have it's own tax. So I entered counties in Back Office>>>Shipping>>>Counties along with their zip codes. Then I created a tax rule in Back Office>>>Payment>>>Tax Rules where I could select a county I created in the shipping tables, under Colorado and link it with a TAX from Back Office>>>Payment>>>Taxes. But when I test it, usually PrestaShop only uses the taxes for the First County on the list (in the tax rule.) Sometimes it will use only the state tax. I thought there was a correlation with the zip code, but it seems rather arbitrary. I am using PrestaShop 1.4.1. Does anyone know the correct way to enter county taxes or if they even work in this version of Presta Shop (It seems there are posts referring people to 1.4.2)?Thanks a ton!Lynnette
bellini13
i opened this bug report a while back and they said it was fixed in SVN. I had to make a custom change to fix the problem, and have never upgraded to v1.4.1 to confirm the SVN change fixed the issue. You might want to re-open the issue.http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-
lynnetted
My boss directed me to this video: http://www.prestatraining.com/set-up-taxes-in-prestashop-v1-4/This video describes a change made to the code in the class COUNTY.PHP . While I couldn't enact the change exactly as shown, I did muck around with it a bit and it seems to have solved the problem. Thank you so much CURT DONOHUE!!!-Lynnette
