[Solved] Categories

I have no visible CATEGORIES or Sub Categories on any page, apart from when you go to Sitemap, and then the full Category and Sub Category Menu appears where it should be on the left hand side.

Secondy, I have lost the animation of any product being added to the cart and also the animation of the cart updating itself has also disappeared.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From the symptom, it seem the problem is theme related.
Can you try to disable "Dynamic" in the blockcategoires module configuration screen?

I have already done this, as well as renewing the blockcategories module with the latest version... I have cleared the cache a dozen times and still no difference.

to identify the problem, to see if it is theme related, you can try to switch to use default prestashop theme, it the problem disappear, then it is the theme problem.

also you can try to switch to use smarty 2 if you are using PS 1.4x

I have now tried changing to the Prestashop Default Theme and the categories are still missing from the store front. I have also tried changing to Smarty 2 and this has had no effect either.

One thing that i would like to point out is that when y9ou click on SITEMAP at the top of the page, the Categories appear in perfect working order... But only on that page and as soon as you navigate to a different page, they disappear again.

I'd be so incredibly happy if someone could investigate this and help me!

Thanks to Dustin... The issue is now fixed.

THere was a problem with module positions.
