Upgrading Version 1.3.3.0 - 0.254s -- Database Concerns.

Hi,

I want to upgrade to the newest version of Prestashop but I'm affraid that I'll run into a problem. I believe that I'm having a database problem. I don't think it's the database itself but rather something within the prestashop content on the database that is causing it.

The site itself appears to be working fine and I can access all products, place orders, etc. I can access everything on the backend except for a few things that requires a script to work with the products in the database.

For example..

I can't do a database backup within Prestashop. When I try I get "An error occur while backing up. Unable to obtain the schema of "ps_product_sale".

I can't rebuild the search index. I don't get an error but no products are every indexed even if I try and add the missing products or rebuild the entire index.

With these problems do you think it's safe to upgrade Prestashop?
