Having a problem with the page filter and reset.

I have put a ID number in filter product to search and computer will not unlock from this. If I hit filter or reset it kicks me out, that is send with to a page saying internet webpage unavailable.
The result is that only this bar is showing and it says I have no products so I can not access my products here.
This has also happened in the order tab when I put in a customer name. It has locked shows no name or any of my orders.
I can go to a different computer and log on and it is fine but obviously I am too scared to try fiter in fear I will have no access. However I really need it working on this computer. I have log out and shut dowm but when I go back it is still the same.
This is very frustatrating and hopefully one of you whizzes will have a easy and quick solution.
