Guest
So you can browse your website but got the connection lost message, if so you may experiment a DB server overload...Simply put the file in the root folder...

DrGhost
this the fix you are referring to?http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/2303/installation_configuration___upgrade/installation_problem_system_compatibility
DrGhost
For all you Go Daddy users out there who have problems installing the latest version of Prestashop, I want you to keep an eye out for two errors.1) You get a quick page that says you must have JavaScript for the application to work2) You experience a completely unresponsive system configuration page.If you are experiencing either of these errors, verify whether or not you have js turned on for your server. GO DADDY BY DEFAULT DOES NOT TURN ON JAVASCRIPT! ALSO, YOU MUST UPGRADE TO A DELUXE ACCOUNT TO ENABLE JAVASCRIPT.After I did this, everything works fine. Hopefully this will clarify some of the installation problems still out there. Good luck and happy e-commercing :-)Dr.Ghost
