Products Not Showing When Clicked On In Category

I am using prestashop Version 1.3.1.1 - 0.110s

I have added new categories and products under those categories. When you click on the categories, the products in that category show up, but if you click on the product link, nothing shows.

All of the above was entered in the back end, not uploaded.

The other issue I have is that when I add/update a product the manufacturer does not show up in the drop down, even though it was created. I even clicked the "add manufacturer" next to it and created a new one, it still does not show up in the drop down.

I am not sure if the two are related.

Any ideas??
