Combine Supplier & Manufacturer Modules

I originally posted this in development to see if anyone had achieved this before but had no replies so I'm offering it as a paid job now.

This was my original post:

I was just wondering if any has achieved this before and could possibly help me out with this.
Basically I want to put the supplier & manufacturer dropdowns into the same block and have second dropdown dynamically populate based on the first.
Once a user has selected their two options it should then redirect them to a page featuring a product list of all products which match both the selected manufacturer & supplier.

Any help you can provide at all with this would be great as I have no idea where to start aside from just reading through the code of the two individual modules that already exist.

Rather than offering to pay someone to make the module as we don't have the budget for that we'll be asking if any of you would be interested in making it to sell with the guarantee of a sale to us?
You would retain all rights to sell it as much as you like, we would just buy one copy from you for our site.

We would be looking to pay up to around $40 for our one purchase of the module but would be open to negotiation.

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in developing for us & how quickly you could produce it (We're looking for quite a quick turn around time).


If anyone else would be interested in buying the module too once its developed please post here as it may encourage someone to produce it.

I can make a module that, but please be given a more detailed explanation of what it looks like. Can you describe through pictures.

I've attached an image of what it should look like.
Its basically how the current manufacturer & supplier modules look just put into the same block.

Just to add some more detail on how it should work.
The manufacturers dropdown will populate first with a list of all manufacturers, once you select a manufacturer the suppliers dropdown will populate with a list of all suppliers which have a product that shares the selected manufacturer.
Once both have been selected it needs to redirect to a standard layout product list page that features all products which match the selected supplier & manufacturer.

While it costs more than $40, you should look at this module from Tomer. It does what you want, plus more.

I have a few questions I'll need to ask Tomer first regarding certain features & I'll update here as to whether I'll be using his or still looking into having a module developed.
