bicatu
Hi,I'd like to integrate my inventory system with prestashop so I can automatically remove products when they are out of stock (or below a given threshold).Initially I'll do that using export (from my system) and importing into prestashop. The links that I've found (http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Importing_Product_Data/) does not answer my question regarding:a) how to set the inventory (from the text file) how to tell prestashop if a product reaches 0 it should not be displayed)Regards. RogueWaveLimited
Hello Newcomer,All that is necessary to change the quantity available is to have the product id and the quantity available in your product import. You can try it on one product first to test. There is a products preference that will cause the "add" button to disappear for products whose inventory level is zero. There is no built-in way to not show the product. You would need some custom programming for that.I can do a regular update for you from your inventory system. I specialize in this type of work. (data import/export, edit etc.).Email me at the address below if you want to discuss your needs.
