the hat lady
I am a wholesaler developing a shop for the retail trade to be able to order.I do not want the wholesale prices to show to the public. What is the best way to do this. I thought maybe the products could show in a catalofue and then pricing available to log in approved customers. But how do I do this. I am a real novice and may need help with the suggestions. shokinro
yes PrestaShop has catalog mode, and the price will be hidden.but after user logged in, it still hidden. If you want to make it meets you needs, some small changes are required.you change to show price after user logged in by changing some themes, like product.tpl, product-list.tpl, also you need to change home featured module to hide the price too. curtdonohue
Hi Hat Lady,If I understand what you are looking for, there may be a very simple way to solve your issue. I need to clarify a couple things, though. First, is it correct that you can show retail prices to anyone looking at your site? Second, it sounds like you have a group of wholesale customers who, when logged in, will get a discount of some percentage and will see that discount when they are logged in. Are those clarifications correct? If those assumptions are correct, then the solution is simple, but the execution is a bit involved. I have a paid for tutorial product that provides a thorough example of how to solve this in about 10 minutes. If you are interested let me know. the hat lady
CurtThank you for your reply. I am think shokinros idea will work. The issue is I have over 1148 product and the the wholesale price I am selling at is loaded as the retail price. I appreciate the offer but to chage this would be very involved and the retailers here do not want wholesale/import/distributors to sell direct.RegardsJulie
