ZenCarter
Hi...I currently have 5 live Zen Cart websites and I am looking to leave Zen Cart in favour of a more modern, more openly developed system as I am tired of waiting, waiting and waiting for Zen Cart to modernise. 2 of my zen cart websites are 'closed' members only type websites. That is, my prices are NOT displayed until a shopper has registered with my zen cart store. Once registered, that account's status is in 'pending approval' mode. That means the customer, although registered has not been approved to see prices or make orders. Only via an Admin changing the customers registration approval to 'Authorised' can the customer then see prices, make orders etc.It is a business critical feature, and a feature that is built into the Zen Cart core. I have played briefly with prestashop but I cannot seem to find a feature or add-on that achieves this. Is this part of the core?... Is there an add-on?...Is there a guide on how to achieve this?...I am not a very good programmer so to develop this would be well beyond my skill level. It is really the only business critical function of the website that keeps me using that system. Also, one of my Zen Cart websites have 80,000 product lines. Would prestashop be able to handle a product database of this scale? Thanks
