The Flex Studio
we have had a number of customers wanting to operate both trade and retail versions of their websites under completely different domain names. They also want each website to be completely different in terms of design, display different products and for all e-mail correspondence to be considered on a "per store" basis. We have seen a couple of modules within the http://www.prestatoolbox.com/15-multi-store-prestashop section of the presta toolbox. However, these don't seem to provide full control over the site on a truly individual basis. They appear to rely on the use of sub domains. Can anyone please advise whether they have considered a true multisite solution for press to shop?My sincere thanks.Geoff
jeckyl
Hi,it's not a tue multi store with different configurations. You can manage 2 different domains or sub domains.with this modules you can manange langages, modues, product by omains but you still have the same payement modules, the same email, the same logo in the backoffice. The Flex Studio
Yes - I thought that was the case.I think we may look at writing something that will allow both stores to share the same database but utilise variables to create the individualised emails, logos etc
jeckyl
I think it's possible, but if you use both shop to have one for B2B and one for B2C it still the same society the same logo and same email.
The Flex Studio
I am sure we can write vearious logic to customise these items depending upon the store being visited.I will advise on progress as it may be of use to others.
Dio
It would be great to get full multi site functionality. Here is an example. Stan Tex You may see they are abs. different sites. These two stores operate from one admin panel and use the same data base.

harmon
How does one set up multiple stores on sub-directories? Exact instructions please? Thanks
El Patron
Some may be interested in our MultiStore (Multiishop) module for both 1.4 and 1.3 installations. You can find the details here. We sell it for 39 euros..and the few add-on's to accompany it are only 19 euros. And yes, theme by domain will be released in the next few days. It will be an add on, again 19 euros. The next add on will be logo by domain...and may be included with the theme by domain. Our modules don't use sub directories, above cookie level we simply swap the shop configuation defined in our back office tab, then let PrestaShop on it's merry way, using that shops information. It's a single class override...no core changes...all your existing modules, themes and customization works the same on all shops. and again, 39 euros...why so low? It simply works...so we don't have to spend much time with each customer, nor they with us...click click...done
