Configure / Add message to product

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is easy or not, but here goes.. I want my customers to be able to add a custom message to their product, such as a persons name etc. I basically want a text box that the customer can fill in on the product page. When they add the item to the cart, that message would have to be passed through to the back office so that I could read it... Is that possible?

Hi Carl,

Yes this is very easy to do. When creating or editing a product there is a tab on the top menu called "Customization". For more information on how this feature can be used please have a look at the prestashop user guide http://www.prestashop.com/download/Userguide_en.pdf

There is information on how to use the customization feature on page 37.
