Luth
Hello,I am having an issue with PS v1.4.1.0. I have set my shipping costs to 0 (zero), yet when I add an item for the first time to the cart, it adds 5.00 to the shipping cost. If I add a value of 2.00 for instance to the shipping cost in the back end, and add an item to the cart, the shipping cost is then changed to 7.00. Where is the system getting the default value for the shipping cost?I have looked everywhere but I cannot see it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?Luther
shokinro
I guess you must have set handling fee $5.please check Shipping tab, on the page top handling section
Luth
Hi,The handling fee is set to 0 (zero). I have checked and double checked. What worries me is that I will be adding a shipping fee at some stage, but it will simply be added to the default £5 that the system is applying.Just been playing some more with the shipping issue and I have found that within Shipping | Carriers, if I disable the carrier, the £5 shipping cost is not applied. I will however want to apply a shipping cost and as the system is adding £5 as default, it forces me to have a shipping cost of a minimum of £5. If I want a shipping cost of £8.50, I have to set the shipping cost to £3.50 and it will then add the default £5 to make it £8.50.Surely there's an easier way!!!Help needed urgently.Luther
shokinro
I am not sure why "$5 shipping fee" is added automatically.there must be something wrong with your setting. I never heard of this issue. If you can PM me your site admin info, maybe I can take a look when I got a chance.(but I will have to go offline in about a few minutes, will look into later)
