UPDATE: I figured this out, it should be $product->weight instead of $product.weight



I wrote the following but it doesn't seem to work:

{if $product.weight > 0}

show text

{/if}

but it doesn't work, any tips?

Use {debug} to access to all used SMARTY var.
It depend to your tpl.
