Looking for PrestaShop developer(s) for extending PS functionality and integrating with PAP4 & Forum software

Hello,

I have a PS v1.4.1 store in development and need additional features, integration and upgrade to go live in PS v. 1.4.2. Requirements are as follows:

1. Upgrade to PS v 1.4.2. I may be able to do this myself, but if you have already accomplished this successfully and could save me time, please send me a quote for it.

2. PS and Post Affiliate Pro (PAP4) have been installed. Test installation and configuration to ensure PS, PAP4 & Paypal are working properly to go live.

3. Tax and shipping calculator have been partially configured in PS. Advise on configuration and test final setup to ensure they are working properly to go live.

4. Create dynamic product widgets in PS for affiliates who have websites, blogs, facebook accounts, etc., and ensure links would be properly tracked in PAP4.

5. Install forum software that allows 1 username & password for both the shop and forum. I prefer to go with an existing solution that has been bug-tested for security (including maintenance of SSL certificate when navigating from PS to forum and back), as customer security is critical. Last I looked there wasn't yet a perfect integration of PS with phpBB, but an integrated solution like that would be ideal.

6. Modify customer account setup so that newsletter subscription only requires email, wishlist creation only requires email & password, and forum posting requires verified email, password, and optional alias. Current information required to setup an account is unnecessary for these functions. Additional account information can be requested at the time of product order confirmation (some of it, including address, can be provided in Paypal, so no need to duplicate for a client with Paypal account). If tiered sign-up is not possible, it would affect how #4 would be handled (namely, integration may not be necessary), so this and requirement #4 should probably be specified and developed together.

7. Modify visual template to add topnav buttons with dropdown menus that navigate seamlessly to integrated software (e.g. forum) and external sister websites. This would be in addition, not instead of, existing PS sidenav. Navigation requires security plan and creation of messages to notify visitors when they are being routed to a sister site and how/ if security is being maintained.

Please let me know what requirements you feel comfortable developing, a quote (in terms of estimated delivery date and price to develop them), and what experience you have with similar requirements (including references, if possible). I don't know if these requirements will be best accomplished by different people or by one person who becomes familiar with my setup; perhaps there will be more than one developer, with one being the main point person to ensure everything integrates.

Please note that I require people who are team players and enjoy discussing strategy in order to find the best solution for my business needs before jumping into coding. I need to be comfortable with and understand the approach taken (but not necessarily the code), and will require documentation of changes made so that other developers can build on the work done and replicate it in future versions of PS (in case of messy PS upgrades). My business depends on this, which is why I chose an open-source solution.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I look forward to hearing from you!
Heather

Let me know how this turns out for you, Heather. It's a great idea (and I don't think it would be difficult to design at all) and I've only seen 2 other examples of something like this in the past.

Hello,

I had a developer work on some of this functionality, but after a long break am unable to reach him to finish this project. Anyone available and qualified to complete this in the next month?

Thanks,

Heather

from the original topic, what remains to be completed? do you need to have all of those items still developed? I can likely offer to upgrade the store to the latest v1.4.8.2.

On the other items, if you provide an updated set of requirements, I can likely provide a rough estimate for completing those tasks.
